DRAWING PAPER SIZES, WEIGHT & TOOTH

DETERMINE WHAT A FINISHED DRAWING WILL LOOK LIKE


KINDS OF PAPER & OTHER MEDIA:

1. (GPM) = GRAMS PER SQUARE METER is the weight of paper in metric
2. (LBS) = Pounds - It also used to define certain kinds of paper.

Twenty pound bond paper is used often to define ordinary plain paper; however, for fine drawing it is not a good idea. But it is good for rough sketches or a ("study" which is a sketch or drawing to get an idea of how a finished work will look.)

3. (CALIPER) Is a measurement of how thick a paper is. It is Not used much for every day artwork.
